One of the best days out we have had. I brought my children to the shoot and they loved it. We were treated professionally and the studio knew how to interact with children to get the best results. I am most definitely going again and I cannot recommend it enough. My daughters have seen the end results and are super chuffed. My nine year old even did a show and tell and her class screamed I tell you. Screamed! Just epic. Rick Jones is a legend.

I had a brilliant shoot at the Horrify Me studio. Rick and Claire are fantastic people to work with and clearly so talented at what they do. I really appreciate all the hard work, great direction and awesome gore/effects that contributed to a fun shoot with amazing images as an outcome. Thank you so much for everything!

In two words: "Bloody Awesome"!!! I was given a Zombie Photoshoot gift voucher as a pressie. The experience totally exceeded my expectations (obviously I hadn't checked out Rick's photos in advance!) Rick is a really lovely guy. He put me at ease and most definitely brought out my inner zombie. Would recommend it to anyone who's up for a trying out a new look :D

I knew the horror books that I write are sick. It's what my readers seem to enjoy; dark, extreme stories. The scary thing is, I never really think of them as sick when I write them. To me, it's just work and I switch off at the end of the day and go back to living a relatively boring, quiet life.

And then I made an appointment with Horrify Me; a desperation to do The Evil Dead shoot. As the date neared it dawned on me that I was probably better off recreating some scenes from some of my books instead - it would give me something to take to the many conventions I attend and something else to offer readers who want a signature. It was here - with these photos captured by Rick - that I came to realise that my work is indeed sick... Either that or Rick has managed to make it a lot worse than I had originally intended. A great eye for gory detail, a genuine love of horror, a professional attitude to create the best work possible - Rick went above and beyond to help bring my worlds to life and, needless to say, I will be going back for more.

For what you pay you get amazing service and some truly unique photographs as well as memories that will last a lifetime; my own highlight being the obvious excitement of capturing the perfect shot when we attempted The Birthday Cake scene from the book "Monster".

Honestly, if you have a love of horror and are up for a messy laugh - you need to book yourself in with Horrify Me. Choose from one of the many themes he offers or suggest something of your own creation! I can't recommend these guys enough and I've come away smiling - and also disturbed that although he captured the images perfectly... This is the kind of stuff that had been festering in my head.

My sister purchased a shoot for our family Xmas present, so my wife, daughter and I booked a day to be made up as Zombies. We all had a great time and are really pleased with how the photos have come out. Rick is really great and it was nice to have an experience which was very relaxed and friendly without any sales. And done by someone who does it because they enjoy it. I would recommend anyone do this for something different. It's refreshing to see someone do something for the passion rather than just making money. We all had a really great day, and Rick made it really good and comfortable for us all. I've had a few people ask where we went and will do my best to pass on the word and recommend you. Thanks for an awesome day.

Made welcome the moment we entered. Most of us had only met that day, but felt like we'd known each other for years! Professional all the way through, great communication and as for the photos? See for yourself! HIGHLY RECCOMENDED!!

Artist and photographer Rick Jones has often been outcast from Facebook because of his controversial imagery depicting half naked and bloody characters being chopped up or eaten, but his work has its place in the world of horror. Highly professional, his workshop/studio is fully equipped with backdrops and lighting and boasts all things horror from giant horror themed posters of his clients to make-up effects and props and classic horror DVD's, there is even a full size R2-D2. His work is incredibly professional - but Rick Jones isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and cross the barrier over into the taboo subject cafe, sitting down with a chargrilled zombie and side order of fingers. Washed down with a pint of blood and a broken bone to pick out the rotting meat from his teeth.
